DeCotiis partner Arlene QuiƱones Perez was recently honored at the Defensores De La Justicia Banquet hosted by Alianza, Rutgers Camden Law School, for her commitment to social justice and equality as one of the top lawyers in the state. Arlene, who is currently serving as the President of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, was honored alongside Associate Dean of the Rutgers Law School Angela Baker, and Assistant General Counsel at New Jersey Resources Alexander Gonzalez.

Arlene was also named one of this year's North Jersey Federal Woman's History-Makers by the North Jersey Federal Credit Union, along with Beth Marmolejos, the New York Chapter President of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.

"She has been a wonderful asset to our firm," said managing partner Joseph DeCotiis, "her work in the public sphere has done a lot to bolster the diverse and growing communities in New Jersey."

Arlene has been previously featured in the Hispanic Executive Magazine, listed by PoliticsNJ on the 40 Under 40 Power List, as one of New Jersey's top 50 rising stars, and featured in the Star-Ledger as a Person of Interest. She has served as a member of the Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Judiciary and the Board of Directors for the Girls Scouts Heart of New Jersey. She joined DeCotiis as a partner in March 2015.
