Damien Bevelle’s practice centers around the firm’s Municipal Law group.

Mr. Bevelle received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking from Hampton University (Hampton, VA) in 1996.  He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2010.

While at Seton Hall, Mr. Bevelle was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board, having competed in Constitutional Law moot court competitions.  He was also one of Seton Hall’s Distinguished Scholars, and was the recipient of the Dorothy Day Scholarship and the Newark Serviceman Scholarship.  Mr. Bevelle was also very active in the law school community, serving as President of the Black Law Students Association (“BLSA”), as Student Bar Association - 3L Class Senator and as a member of Seton Hall’s Diversity Council. Mr. Bevelle also participated in study abroad programs, taking classes in International Human Rights, International Oil and Gas Transactions and International Criminal Law in Cairo, Egypt during the summer of 2008 and studying Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking in Zanzibar, Tanzania during the winter intersession of 2009.  Upon graduating Seton Hall Mr. Bevelle was awarded the prestigious Raymond DelTufo, Esq. award for the highest average in Constitutional Law.

Following law school, Mr. Bevelle clerked in Passaic County Superior Court, Criminal Division for the Honorable Greta Gooden Brown, J.S.C. 

Prior to attending law school Mr. Bevelle worked in the financial services industry as a financial advisor, investment banker and consultant and then later as an executive at Miracle Makers, Inc., a Brooklyn, New York based non-profit social service organization.
