Daren R. Eppley

Daren Eppley joined DeCotiis in 2004 as a partner in both the Teaneck and Trenton offices. He is a member of our Environmental Law and Green practice groups.

After 16 years of advising the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection as a Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Eppley joined the firm to continue his environmental law career by providing counsel on permitting and compliance issues related to land use, redevelopment, site remediation and water and wastewater programs.

Prior to his partnership at DeCotiis, Mr. Eppley was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey. During his career with the Division of Law and the Governor’s Office, Mr. Eppley was recognized as the “go to“ attorney for general counseling, regulatory development and case management for wastewater permitting, water quality programs, watershed management and stormwater.  Because of Mr. Eppley’s extensive experience with these programs, his clients benefit from his unique insights that ensure compliance with the multitude of NJDEP’s environmental requirements.

Mr. Eppley was awarded his B.A. cum laude by East Stroudsburg State University in 1984. He received his law degree from Washburn University in 1988.
