The primary focus of Mr. Bevelock’s practice is civil litigation in the state and Federal courts. Mr. Bevelock has represented a broad range of clients, including real estate development, retail optical and pharmaceutical companies, as well as governmental entities and individuals in matters concerning land use, construction disputes, employment issues, patent infringement, contract and lease disputes and civil rights. He also has extensive experience representing companies and individuals before New Jersey administrative agencies.

Hartz Mountain Indus., Inc. v. N.J. Sports and Exposition Authority et al., 369 N.J. Super. 175 (App. Div. 2004). (challenge to bid awarded to developer for redevelopment of Meadowlands Sports Complex’s arena site).
Richard Freeman et. al. v. State of New Jersey, 347 N.J. Super. 11 (App. Div. 2002) (civil rights action against New Jersey State Police).
In re Adoption of N.J.A.C. 13:38-1.3(F) by the N.J. State Board of Optometrists, 341 N.J. Super. 536 (App. Div. 2001) (challenge to regulation adopted by Board of Optometrists barring optometrists from leasing space on a percentage of revenue basis).
Mr. Bevelock received his Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked as a financial analyst in the investment banking division of Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc., in New York City. In 1994, he graduated cum laude from New York University Law School, where he was a staff member of the New York University Law Review. Mr. Bevelock clerked for the Honorable Harold A. Ackerman in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey from 1994 to 1996. Mr. Bevelock serves as a trustee for the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey. He is a New Jersey native.
