As a trial attorney, Jason defends municipalities, as well as represents developers and property owners in prerogative writ cases from inception at the trial level, through arguments before the New Jersey Appellate Division. In the redevelopment context, he's aided developers in Hudson County negotiate and fulfill the obligations of their respective redevelopment agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Jason was an associate at a boutique real estate development firm, serving as the lead condemnation counsel for the New Jersey DEP in the acquisition of approximately 70 easements on the Atlantic coastlines in Ocean County, for two separate shore protection projects.
Jason received his B.A. from Rutgers University in 2006. He obtained his Juris Doctor in 2011 from Rutgers Law School. While in law school, Jason worked as a Summer Associate at Chasan, Lamparello, Mallon & Cappuzzo P.C., interned in the office of the Jersey City Corporation Counsel, and served as Judicial Intern to Hon. William J. Martini, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Jason was also a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board and was selected as an Eagleton Institute of Politics Graduate Fellow.
Jason is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Montclair Historic Preservation Commission as well as Co-Chair of the Rutgers University Varsity R Men's Soccer Alumni Career Development and Mentoring Program.
