She has handled major cases involving employment discrimination, civil rights violations, and contracts disputes. Ms. Mocco is well versed in handling matters through alternative dispute resolution processes as well as litigation when necessary. She has represented a broad range of clients including government entities and individuals on various matters.
Ms. Mocco's employment law experience includes working for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she helped to defend victims of discrimination in the workplace. She has represented several private clients in a major CEPA (whistleblower) case in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Mocco has also successfully handled various employment disputes involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Ms. Mocco has a background in criminal defense. She has successfully defended private clients in Municipal and Superior Court.
Katie received her B.A. in Political Science from Oklahoma State University. She was awarded her J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law. Ms. Mocco is a New Jersey native and lifetime resident.
