Mr. Bunbury received a B.A. with Distinction from the Pennsylvania State University in 2006. While at Penn State, he earned membership into both Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. He received his J.D., with honors, from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he was an editor on the University of North Carolina Law Review and also published a Note entitled, Forty-Acres and a Mule… Not Quite Yet: Section 14012 of the Food, Conservation and Energy Act Fails Black Farmers, 87 N.C. L. Rev. 1230 (2009). While attending the University of North Carolina, he was also vice-president of the Black Law Student Association and an Honors Writing Scholar.
During law school, Mr. Bunbury also spent a semester in Lyon, France, studying French Constitutional and Civil Law, and is semi-fluent in French.
Following law school, Mr. Bunbury clerked for the Honorable Michael K. Diamond (Ret.), Presiding Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Passaic County, Family Part, and the Honorable Ronny Jo Siegal of the New Jersey Superior Court, Bergen County, Family Part.
