Mr. Passamano practices primarily in the area of shareholder disputes, estate and trust litigation and commercial litigation. He also represents defendants in bankruptcy preference and fraudulent conveyance litigation. Prior to embarking on his legal career, Mr. Passamano was a sales executive for Reynolds Tobacco.
Mr. Passamano has published numerous articles concerning issues in bankruptcy law and secured lending, including An Ounce of Prevention in the November 1994 issue of Doors and Hardware Magazine; Avoiding Pitfalls When Dealing with a Financially Troubled Customer in the May 1994 issue of Business Credit Magazine; Setoff in Bankruptcy: An Overview of the Mechanics, 105 Banking Law Journal 349 (1988) and Questions of Priority: Secured Lenders Versus Federal Tax Liens 90 Com. L.J. 361 (1988).

He is a 1977 graduate of the University of Hartford, where he received a BFA cum laude. He was awarded his J.D., also cum laude, by Seton Hall University Law School in 1986. As a law student, he was awarded the Columbian Fund Award as the outstanding graduate of Italian-American descent. Additionally, he was a member of the Rodino Society, and a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He also received an MS in 1981 from the Pratt Institute. He is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey Republican Committee, and actively involved in the Salvation Army. He has been a New Jersey resident for over twenty-five years.
