Gabrielle J. Canaie is an associate at DeCotiis. She is a member of the firm's Litigation, Corporate Law, and Municipal Law practice groups.
Ms. Canaie has been affiliated with the firm since 2018. While working at the firm, Ms. Canaie's primary focus has been providing clients with representation and counseling in corporate, business, and litigation services. As a member of the firm's Municipal Law group, Ms. Canaie represents and counsels both state and local government entities.
Ms. Canaie is a graduate of Rowan University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society.
Ms. Canaie received her J.D. from New York Law School and a Public Service Certificate, which recognizes students who have committed substantial time to working in the public interest during law school.
During her time at New York Law School, Ms. Canaie served as a Courtroom Advocate for the Domestic Violence Project, interned at the Passaic County Regional Office of New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, competed in the ABA Regional Negotiation and Mediation Competitions as a member of the New York Law School Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, and acted as a Student Mentor.
She is a lifelong resident of Bergen County. Ms. Canaie previously worked in the area of complex commercial litigation.
