Michael DiFazio II is a Partner at DeCotiis. He is a member of the Litigation and Cannabis Law Practice Groups.

His practice revolves around defending public entities including municipalities, utility authorities, housing authorities and public commissions. He has counseled and represented both public entities and private businesses in state and federal court actions, administrative hearings, and arbitration and mediation proceedings. Mr. DiFazio also represents municipalities in the area of local property taxation

As a member of the Cannabis Law Practice Group, Mr. DiFazio has successfully aided clients in the permitting process to operate an Alternative Treatment Center under New Jersey's Compassionate Use of Medical Marijuana Act.

Mr. DiFazio also serves as a municipal prosecutor for the Court of the Palisades Interstate Park.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. DiFazio served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Philip J. Maenza, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris County, Family Part.

Mr. DiFazio serves as an active member and fundraiser to Welcome Home Vets of New Jersey, a nonprofit organization that assists the assimilation of military veterans back into civilian life.
