NJ Democratic Women's Group to Honor Female Leaders

Emerge New Jersey is aiming to empower New Jersey’s Democratic women and change politics in the state by training and encouraging woman to run for office. On October 1st, the group will host their first annual Women of Achievement Gala. Eight democratic women and one democratic man will be honored at the event.
“Our gala honorees are individuals who have made significant strides within the Democratic community in New Jersey and we are honored to acknowledge the work they’ve done and continue to do,” said Emerge New Jersey’s Executive Director Truscha Quatrone.

In addition to honoring those making changes in New Jersey politics, the Gala will also act as a fundraiser to “build a pipeline of women leaders for a Democratic future.”
