Mackenzie S. Wittig is an Associate at DeCotiis and a member of the Labor & Employment and Environmental Law practice groups.

Ms. Wittig earned her B.A. in Criminology from The College of New Jersey. She went on to receive her J.D., graduating cum laude, from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she also earned an Advanced Certificate in Environmental Law. While at Pace, Ms. Wittig was a member of the Pace Environmental Law Review and held the position of Symposium Editor.

She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

During law school, Ms. Wittig was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Patty Schwartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She also worked as an Honors Law Clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of General Counsel in Washington, D.C., and with the EPA Region 2 New Jersey Superfund Branch in NYC. Additionally, Ms. Wittig gained experience in commercial real estate matters while working at Cassin & Cassin LLP.

Prior to joining DeCotiis, Ms. Wittig served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable James M. DeMarzo, P.J.Ch., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division during the 2025-2026 term.
